- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to tell us.

Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your information to reply to you, to talk about how we might help, and, if you go ahead, to prepare and deliver our work. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our business, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We use anonymous answers from the checks to understand which questions matter to visitors.
We don’t add you to a mailing list, we don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Only the people at Long Lever who deal with your enquiry. Our website platform and email provider store the information on our behalf, under contract, and only use it to provide their service to us. We don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within two years. If you become a client, we keep records for as long as needed for the work and for our legal and accounting obligations, normally six years after the work ends.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email us and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
